Urban Armor Gear launches iPhone SE cases

Urban Armor Gear, maker of a variety of rugged and lightweight cases, has introduced its new iPhone SE cases. The newest line of cases is made specifically for Apple's newly announced iPhone, bringing the same general design we've come to expect from UAG. The cases feature a scratch-resistant skid pad, holes for all the ports, a raised screen ridge, and more. The company also has new cases for the iPad Pro 9.7.

The new UAG cases can be used for the iPhone SE and the older iPhone 5 and 5S models, given that they use basically the same design. These cases have a translucent color that lets the Apple logo show through, and oversized holes for the ports to ensure third-party accessories like earbuds and cables can fit.

The buttons are oversized and tactile for easy location, and the edge around the screen is raised to protect the display when the phone is placed face-down. Anyone who has used Urban Armor Gear's cases will find them highly familiar, with the same military drop-test specifications, raised corner bumpers, and more.

Similarly styled is the new case for the iPad Pro 9.7 — these cases feature a detachable and adjustable stand, the same drop test standards, a frogskin non-slip grip, a soft core designed to handle impacts, and a "composite construction" that makes for a featherlight case. The iPhone SE cases are available for $34.95, while the iPad cases are a bit more at $59.95 USD.
