Vincent’s latest stop was with the guys from Helio, and they were showing off their new new Ocean. They were kind enough to hand it over for him to play with and of course, take a bunch of pictures. Hit the jump for his thoughts, a video walk-through and more pics.

All around, the phone is just awesome. It fits perfectly into the palm of your hand and the sliding is very smooth. The redesigned UI looks and feels much better than the old one. There are a bunch of new software updates in addition to all of the Helio goodies that you’re used to.

The Ocean sports 3G connectivity which makes everything blazing fast. It also has a dedicated chip for MP3 playback that will get you up to 15 hours of playback. You’ll be able to get your hands on one this Spring for $295.

I just want to know what he’s looking at. It’s like he’s watching something funny that we can’t see. Get back to work Vincent, you’ve got more booths to hit and pictures to take!

    The new Ocean launched Friday, and I came across a promotional code to save some serious green when you go to buy it.

    ==> $75 off the $295 pricetag
    ==> $30 Activation Fee waived
    ==> $25 off first four months of service ($100 total)

    Go to the Helio website and use the promo code B2BDGOD

    I ordered mine Friday and got it yesterday… and it’s freaking awesome!
