It would be helpful to hear more about why other OEM’s are having better luck getting their products placed in the US. Nokia seems like it’s getting dissed. And, by the way, EVERY phone should be subsidized with a new two-year contract because the majority of the cost will be the carrier’s service contract–especially with AT&T. And why not make the 808 pentaband, so that it can work on AT&T or T-Mobile’s 4G network? Many Americans have been conditioned to accept only subsidized phones. Nokia had better figure this one out.

In Europe it should cost about 500 euros. It’s a new concept cause actually it’s a Multimedia Camera….not just a phone….it’s like to have a 40 MP multimedia pocket camera….you can share your pics, geo localize them with hundreds applications etc etc….. A normal 8 MP camera usually cost 200 € but the Pureview is much more causeit’s a new concept camera….when the Carrier understand it they’ll fight to offer it…
