Universal Remote Control, Inc introduced a unique wireless keypad designed to use on walls or as a handheld remote. The custom installer would love the simplicity wireless remote which requires a mere four screws to mount on a wall. It also has a built-in magnet to affix on your freezer, metal surface or arts as a handheld remote.

The programmable KP-900 is equipped with a bright, backlit LCD screen and buttons, user-configurable 512kb of memory to support up to 255 devices. The wireless function operates using Infrared (IR) signals with a range of 30-50 feet, or Radio Frequency (RF) signals with a range of 50-100 feet when used with an optional MRF-350 or MRF-260 RF Base Station. It runs on 4xAAA batteries and comes with USB cable to connect the device to PC with windows version proprietary URC software.

The KP-900 Wireless Keypad has the typical Universal’s price tag of $599, and will be featured at Electronic House Expo next month in Orlando, Florida.
