Today I received my Toshiba Satellite P205. I haven’t had much time to play with it yet, but I did manage to shoot an unboxing video for you guys.

My first impression is that this guy is beautiful looking and lighter than I expected. The specific model that I received was the S6237, which is their sub-$1000 notebook. For the money you get a 17” widescreen, a dual-core Pentium T2080, 1GB of Ram, a 120GB hard drive, DVD burner and 802.11b/g wireless.

I’m excited to test it out, although I can already tell that my old 15.4” screen that I’ve been using seems puny in comparison. I’ve always thought that I’d enjoy a smaller screen because of the mobility, but we’ll see how this goes.

that’s a nice looking laptop - not sure if the number keypad is necessary though. You can’t really beat the sub-$1000 range though. Looking forward to a full review Scott.
