I’m in something of an unboxing mood right now, possibly because it’s getting close to Christmas and my palms are increasingly moist at the thought of unwrapping goodies in the shade of an indoor tree.  Anyway, here’s Google’s latest gift for its beloved AdSense partners - a digital photo frame.  Vincent got his hands on ours and had time to shoot this video of it; I don’t know if he then plans to load it onto the frame itself and have some not-exactly-recursive but still strange display of it being “born” permanently showing.

As for specs, here’s the basic rundown:

  • 3.6 inch 960 x 240 TFT screen, 16-million colours
  • Picture: JPG format
  • Audio: MP3, WMA, WAV and records WAV itself
  • Video: ASF
  • Media: Internal memory and SD card
  • USB 1.1 interface
  • Power: 4 AA batteries or USB 5V or AC/DC power adapter

Thanks Google!
