Unboxing - RedPost/Kit

Remember that cool digital photo frame kit that I showed you last month? Well, I just had one show up on my doorstep today. It's a hefty box, and the kit is full of goodies. The enclosure feels solid, though I really wouldn't want to drop it on my toe.

You can see that it has a very small PC attached to the back panel of the case. I've taken it off just to get a good  look at it. Plenty of USB ports, a CF card reader, Ethernet port, PS/2 port, VGA, and sound in/out ports. That's a lot to cram into such a small package.

Something nice about this large 19" monitor is that it has both DVI and VGA inputs. I'm not really sure how I'd put that DVI port to good use just yet, but I'm sure I could figure out something. If I'm not mistaken, it also seems to have a sound input. Built-in speakers perhaps? I don't see any though.

I'd better find some time to put this guy together. It really looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'll let you guys know how it goes, so stay tuned.
