I use G+ myself, but I don't like having things forced in my face all the time which is what appears to be happening recently. I can see them getting a slap on the wrists for this.

Having said that, this bookmark is a bit daft:

Facebook - They should be getting in trouble for tracking people over the web without their knowledge. As someone else has pointed out, it's not obvious which sites it tracks you at and why. I have actually installed a Chrome extension "Facebook Disconnect" which blocks the Facebook integration.

Twitter - They had an agreement with Google recently that showed results from Twitter live on the search page (remember that?). It was very useful, but Twitter decided not to renew the agreement. To moan about it now and kick up a fuss is unfair.

MySpace - Well, what can I say? I refuse to believe that ANYTHING on that site is relevant any more.

MySpace is a joke. Short-term thinking. It's dead. Are dead talking these days?Twitter started blocking their data to Google a long time ago so they should be quiet.
Facebook is self-promoting all the way. What's your problem? Zuckerberg is a thief and you have Bing search - go play with Microsoft, why do you need Google!?

In any case - I saw no bias from Google over recent weeks/months. Results were the pretty much the same and Twitter and Facebook still dominate over Google+ most of the time in search results.

This protest/alliance is a joke. Facebook and Twitter should be ashamed of themselves.
MySpace? What's that?

Google is padding so many numbers lately. No one is buying it. Look at all the articles on this ridiculousness. They say that they have 60,000,000 active daily users on Google Plus yet that number is actually the number of Google Plus users who do anything at all with any Google service whatsoever while they are signed in. Requiring Google Plus sign up for new Gmail or other Google service signup is going to inflate the contrived Google Plus numbers to Facebook numbers within a year, yet its all contrived. Another number they pad is the number of users who want to use a pseudonym. They make it sound like .020 of users of Google Plus want to use a pseudonym yet that number is the number of users who are signing up for Google Plus who can't finish the sign up procedure because the system won't take their name. In my experience the sign up flow will for Google Plus will take just about any old name, only then a week or so later does Google deactivate your account prompting you to prove your unusual name. Google's new stance on pseudonyms is actually their old stance on pseudonyms except that now you can add a "nickname" in between your first and last name. Not a big deal. Also you can use a pseudonym if you have a Google-judged "meaningful" account or presence elsewhere. Twitter users with only several hundred followers need not apply. Google only gets to look less hypocritical for letting Snoop Dogg and Will.I.AM use a pseudonym. The classism being exposed and unrelenting rebuke of Google for letting mainstream celebs use nyms was too much for Google to bare so they come out as judge as to what a "meaningful" pseudonym is. Again no change from their old ways. Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

These days Google is looking desperate, they are looking like Apple now and Microsoft before it. Maybe Microsoft will come out as the dominate force again simply because they won't play monopoly with users freedom of choice or right to anonymity/pseudonymity.
