Cell phones and people on the streets were what drove the Arab Spring protests, not people in America sitting there appalled by the violence happening yet it were the videos being recorded which was what mattered the most. If there&#039;s one thing I learned about the 20th century, stepping into other countries affairs didn&#039;t help me out in the long run at home, and I doubt it did for them. ]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[The rest of the world is not America- we keep trying to apply our values and culture of freedom to the whole world but they are not ready for it yet.  We need to let them strike their own balances, if freedom is valuable let them make it their own without our interferance.  If you truly believe social media was the real cause of Arab Spring you&#039;re misguided.  Social Media was only a small part- cell phones and those actually hitting the street are what matters.]]></description>
