If you actually understood, America was suppose to be a “non-nonintervention” country unless America’s direct interests/liberty were attacked. Cell phones and people on the streets were what drove the Arab Spring protests, not people in America sitting there appalled by the violence happening yet it were the videos being recorded which was what mattered the most. If there’s one thing I learned about the 20th century, stepping into other countries affairs didn’t help me out in the long run at home, and I doubt it did for them.
