If there’s one thing I love, it’s turning vintage equipment into something useful again. Especially when it comes to gaming hardware. The original NES always stands out in my mind because it was my first gaming console, so I always enjoy seeing it hacked into something cool.

While many of us haven’t held an old NES controller in our hands for quite some time, this mod will ensure that you use it on a daily basis. It turns your old (nearly) useless controller into a fully-functional mouse.

It really doesn’t take much to accomplish, and could likely be done by someone with little skill. I bet it wouldn’t be too hard to even make one wireless.

It really ruffles my feathers when people act as if vintage gaming equipment is useless. I still play my NES and Sega Genesis as frequently as if not more frequently than my XBox, PS2, and Wii. Vintage games will always be the best.

Oh, and also, this is a very cool idea. I would totally do it if I didn’t use my only two controllers, as some people who have them apparently don’t.
