I have had mine for almost two weeks now, and have had no problem. The $100 device is a little steep for most, but it worked right out of the box. True, there are others out there like the Virgin mobile MiFi and the one from Sprint. I decided to go with True Connect — and I am sticking with them.

They took 2 weeks and several “tests” to acknowledge their device was defective. Then I sent it back and 2 weeks later I am still waiting while they run “tests” to verify that it is indeed true! All while having already taken my money. I have requested that they cancel! I’m sure that will take another 2 weeks!! STAY AWAY from this non-service! And take your money elsewhere.

The major carriers compete for the business of intense data usage, but there was no good alternative for users who only need a little bit of data each month, but don’t want the high price or long contract. Our customers are almost on a home or office WiFi network but gives our customers freedom to have Internet when and where they need it outside of home or office.

With the huge demand for reasonable data costs, you would think that prices would be dropping and the competition would be doing their best to come up with a nice unlimited plan that would appeal to everyone.
