Trendnet has unveiled a new wireless access point that has integrated repeater functionally for the user that needs to extend their wireless network a bit for ideal coverage. The new product is called the TEW-690AP and is has 450Mbps wireless n speed and coverage range.

The device has a gigabit LAN port and supports WPS for one button set up with compatible gear. The device uses MIMO antenna technology with three spatial streams per antenna and has a gigabit Ethernet port for connecting to a wired device. The access point has some nice security features as well like WPA2-RADIUS encryption and an on/off power switch.

The access point also supports four SSIDs per wireless band and each can have a different SSID encryption. Other features include a Mac filter feature, QoS data prioritization, and it can cover 100 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors. You can order one now for $187.99.
