Researchers in the Fraunhofer Institute in Germany are working on the next generation of OLED technology, where it can be completely transparent and be turned on and off at anytime.This OLED technology would be really good in assisting the display of specific information. This allows OLED to display information as needed and turn off when not in use, without interfering with the main picture and automobile windshields with built-in displays. This would be most certain to be replacing the current LCD technology as OLED’s are much better than LCDs in terms of longetivity.
