For the moment, building the Chinese industrial economy requires western consumerism; it will prime the the pump of their internal consumer culture. But, what happens to America and Europe after that?

If I was prone to be a conspiracy theorist I would think that Apple may be trying to bury poor sales of the Ipad 2. Sell alot of iPads to their own store division for displays, and then also have a supply problem that they can pin on Foxconn? Maybe the iPad 2′s competition is more effective than expected.

Actually, I couldn’t give a toss about delays to the iPad 2 – it’s the disgusting conditions that people have to work under to churn out this c*ap that concerns me.
