Fooling with a screen might be okay if i can drive in the middle of a wide street with nobody in sight. But my GPS advises against it with the road ahead in my field of view

Only know this because I have owned them all. 2nd generation was a great car, it was an 06 model , I put on 200k miles on it with no problems whatsoever. Still had the original front and rear brakes . Basic maintenance, 1 set of new iridium plugs, serpentine belt and that was it. My 2011 prius has 80k miles and no issues period.
I just hope they continue the hatchback design for 2015 and add the sedan models to the line up. Prius C is a total flop as compared to the prius V wagon and regular prius here in teh states.
