Oliso Touch & Glide Iron will literally stand on its own two feet all by itself. When the iron is released, the Auto-Lift feature with Smart Touch handle automatically deploys spacers from the nonstick aluminum sole plate. The spacers lift the iron up if it is sitting on its sole plate to prevent burns on clothing or ironing surfaces. Then, when your hand touches the Smart Touch handle, the spacers automatically retract. It’s the best way yet to prevent accidental burns and to reduce the fire hazards posed by inadvertently leaving an iron on. Plus, the auto shut-off system automatically turns the iron off when it falls over or sits too long without being used.
