Just wanted to say that Toshiba isn’t calling in “Quad HD” – this is an industry term for large 4k displays running at or near 3840×2160.

The funny thing is the LG 84lm9600 is 4k TV. When this Tv was first introduced last year it was called 4kTV. Now that the Lg one is out, they are saying “very close to 4k” ahaha I love it.

Headtracking is wack!! It takes time to recognize multiple viewers and limits the number of people watching. To make it worse, many experts who got a chance to watch it themselves at the consumer electronics show this year said its 3d picture is not as deep as the 3d tvs with glasses.

Also,wait several years for a new standard of Ultra-High definition to be agreed upon and it won’t be Quad HD but something else. So you’ve been living with a $7000 dollar TV that is still only upscaling images and not true 2160p resolution… And then Full UHD with 8K resolution will be adopted and you’ll forever be seeing scaled down 4320×7680 images!

this tv uses headtracking to optimise the 3D effect!! but 8000 euro is a bit to expensif !
