Previously I had a Blackberry Pearl 9210 which I still have as a Pay-as-you-go on T-MOBILE. I needed a touchscreen phone with a large screen and a fast processor running Windows Mobile, to run a scecific bespoke APP that only works on a WinMob touchphone. After a lot of research I had only 2 phons in my wish list – HTC and TG01 – the TG01 won because of the snapdragon 1Ghz processor.
A few days ago I upgraded to Windows Mobile 6.5 from the Toshiba site – I would recommend that any owner does this, it makes all the difference. The phone looks and performs extremely slick now. I have downloaded OPERA 10 beta from their website and find that so much better than Explorer.
I am extremely pleased with it, only occasionally have I had a glitch (caused by me doing something stupid) and had to re-set using the factory default option and just like any PC or windows based hardware, everything is easy to re-install.
And yes, it is better than the iPhone.
