Today Toshiba announced their latest addition to the Qosmio line with the new G45-AV680. This marks their first US model to include an HD-DVD drive and full 1080p playback resolution.

The new G45-AV680 definitely lives up to the Qosmio’s reputation of being a line of great multimedia laptops. In addition to the HD-DVD drive that you don’t see on many laptops these days, and the stunning 1080p resolution, you’ll get a laptop that is Dolby Surround certified for really making your movie-watching enjoyable.

If you don’t feel like watching your HD movies on the small screen, it features an HDMI output for sending it out to a big screen. You’ll also get some great extras like a built-in subwoofer, an external TV tuner and draft 802.11n wireless.
