So far, I can say that truthfully there is *NO* good 3D TV movie (incl ‘Avatar’) that coulnd’t have been just as good in 2D. (Maybe Captain EO at Magic Mountain?)

But the main reason we are being force-fed 3D TV & movies is b/c you can’t pirate them (easily), so it’s more a matter of corporations keeping their vice-grips on media control.

Only because it’s currently a pain to 1. buy, 2. use, 3. own. Once they get the kinks out, and make it standard place and much easier to accomplish the above 3 points, then I won’t be so negative on it.
