]]> By: Blkakira http://www.slashgear.com/toshiba-excite-android-tablet-gets-release-date-08200948/#comment-162377 Blkakira Sun, 11 Dec 2011 01:03:00 +0000 http://www.slashgear.com/?p=200948#comment-162377 I agree with the comments about the performance of the old generation of the TI OMAP processor in comparison to the Tegra 3.  If Toshiba has any sense, this tablet can sell if they price it right.  The Low $400′s for the 16G (or less) because if they attempt to step out at the same price point as the Prime, This tablet unfortunately will be slaughtered.  I love the looks of it better than the Prime.  But it’s all about Bang for you hard earned buck nowadays.  I truly hope they price it right.  From what I’ve heard about the 7″ Thrives Pricing so far ($400 +) I’m afraid to say this but, it’s destined to fail.

Not everyone is looking for pure power, especially in a tablet. Wait a few months and I’m sure a new, fast processor will come into view. Surprisingly there are people out there that don’t have $500 for a tablet. This could be a good option for those people if it hits at the right price.
