Today Toshiba announced two new notebooks powered by the new Intel Centrino Pro processors. The Tecra A9 and Tecra M9 both feature the Intel Wireless Wi-Fi Link 4965AGN which supports draft 802.11n as well as Toshiba’s own third-gen EasyGuard Technology.

The Tecra M9 is their latest thin-and-light offering, while the Tecra A9 will be geared towards those looking for a high-performance desktop replacement. Both will have enhanced HDD protection and a spill resistant keyboard.Toshiba Tecra A9

They have also announced their first DirectX 10 notebook the Qosmio G45 which is powered by an Intel Centrino Duo processor and NVIDIA’s new GeForce 8600M GPU. This will enable users to have the best multimedia experience possible, no matter where they are.
