Maybe so but it will be a different experience on a windows 8 tablet vs a normal computer
the tablets will be mostly about using the metro UI

The desktop mode doesn't even get its own app store

and you'll be surprised when they aren't powerful enough to do the same work as a normal laptop or desktop computer
Only way they could even come close is to make them cost way more than people will want to pay for such a device, it's been a proven failure with all the past windows xp and windows 7 tablets
people like you are forgetting that it doesn't matter that you can run windows 8 on a really old low end computer because all the other programs and apps still require higher specs themselves
so the desktop mode on a windows 8 tablet won't be any more useful than a netbook
Besides you can already use apples iWork apps on iPads and iPhones and microsoft already said they plan to bring MS office to ios devices soon

You didmt understand me at all, im not a girl for one and I hate chromebooks, totally useless
But I do know that windows 8 will fail because it's bring nothing new to windows 7 users who can't make use of the metro UI because millions of pc users pretty much only need MS word and MS excel to do their jobs and they don't need the metro UI for that plus it's too expensive to update all a companies computers, that's also why many still work using windows xp
And then even hard core pc gamers have no use for the metro UI, they play games from disks so they don't need the metro UI
So basically the metro UI will attract people who want to place html5 games, also to note that the metro UI doesn't support flash and requires a YouTube app to play YouTube videos in the metro UI
So basically what's really the point in updating from windows 7 to windows 8, especially if Microsoft charges $200 for windows 8 like windows 7 still cost right now
And a tablet running windows 8 will just mostly be about using the metro UI, not the desktop mode because the tablets won't have optical disks for playing normal pc games or pc programs
and why the heck even use metro UI on a desktop or laptop, it's pretty much a given standard that people sit too far from their laptop or desktop to be touching the screen, for example, many people have over 20 inch monitors and who the heck sits that close all the time to that screen to touch the screen, nobody I've ever seen, they all lean back in their chairs much too far away to reach
If MS wants to have windows 8 succeed it needs,

1. To cost only $30
2. The OS needs to be downloadable
3. Have downloadable software be free to people who already own a disk copy 4. Make it easy to turn of the metro UI on laptops and desktops
5. Makes apps that work in the desktop mode too
6. Makes sure all windows 8 tablets are $500 or less
7. Makes all windows 8 tablets have built in ability to connect via HDMI or VGA to a larger monitor and then work with Bluetooth keyboards
