If your interest has been piqued about the upcoming Tony Hawk Ride game from Activision, you’ll be pleased to learn that the company has released a few additional details about the game and it’s very unique controller.
The controller itself is shaped like a skateboard. It’s meant to be placed on the floor and responds to any pressure you place on it. However, any movement you make at its sides can register as leaning or as your efforts to push the board “forward.”
It can sense trick attempts including spins and reverts. Pretty cool that it’s going to allow a full range of skateboard moves and tricks. Hopefully, it holds up to expectations. The board will come with the Tony Hawk Ride game for Xbox 360, PS3 and the Wii when it’s released in October. We don’t know any pricing information just yet, but we’ll let you know when we do.
