tizen is not an android fork, android and tizen both base from linux, but android is an incomplete os where tizen, supposedly will be a full deployment.

As much as I love Samsung and their efforts with Android, I think Tizen is a bad idea. Sammy has been on the top of the heap, not just for their “stylish” devices, but for the O/S backing them. Notice how popular they got after Android 4? I’m not sure that Tizen, while it is an Android fork can stand up to actual Android as far as security, usability etc..

OpenMobile’s ACL is a Dalvik clone, so Tizen is 100% Android compatible.
