I am not paying them so they can send me ads and make even more money off of me. Their service is already overpriced as it is. I honestly don’t see what the big hype is over a Tivo anyway. I have a Tivo and my parents have a Dish DVR and I can promise you I would take the Dish DVR any day over the Tivo. It is leaps and bounds better in pretty much every way. Especially the interface.

You buy this technology so you don’t have to watch these terrible commercials designed by some stupid 20 something with no talent except a degree from a overpriced college.

So you pay for Tivo service monthly, and now get to watch stupid adds if program is paused. So all this means is Tivo now gets 2 revenue streams. 1 from you and 1 from advertisers. Smash all the boxes!! I say.

Doesn’t have to be just Movies or Sport channels you know.

I suspect this is a road TiVo is frighted to go down.
