I will never by Apple products again. I want a clean conscience. Supporting corporate slave labor just to get an overpriced status symbol is something I have outgrown.

The prospect of a few thousand Americans assembling kits form China at five times the cost Foxconn do it, as a weak-kneed PR initiative, is desperately sad for America.

As Joni Mitchell wrote in – Don’t Interrupt The Sorrow: “We walked on the moon, you be polite.” I know she was making the opposite point, but OMG the shoe fits.
