I genuinely can’t think of any that would make him “person of the year”. In fact, other than keep Apple ticking he hasn’t done anything at all to make him stand out. He did [release and] make a public apology over Apple Maps, which is indeed rare for an Apple CEO.

Give it to the lady from CERN, I say! But I doubt any American would know who she is. Marissa Mayer – hmm.. she’s done as much as Cook – i.e. kept her company alive – although she had a tougher job I suppose.

My bet is Cook gets it to boost magazine sales.
