I admit I occasionally have a thing for childhood inspired design, but this is even better than the normal toy turned gadget. Not only is it a floor lamp, the string wrapped around it’s center is actually a 16m cable. Allowing you to unroll as much cord as you need, creating a not only fun design but a practical one as well.

One of these lamps will cost you $317, which is pretty bad when you factor in that its only 11” tall and a diameter of 18.7”.
