Timex decided to team up with Core77 and hold a global design competition called 2154: the future of time design. Timex did so to celebrate 150 years of watch crafting.

The runner up of the competition is this concept design, the TX54. It is meant to be worn on your thumbnail, and stays clear except when activated.

Then you can just quickly glance at the time when needed. It is meant for the minimalist, but I would guess a minimalist could just glance at their cellphone as opposed to buying yet another gadget.
