This odd little chair was made specifically for libraries, it is rare that chairs fall under the gadget section but this one happens to have a small electronic twist. This chair will actually follow you around just in case you need a seat.

Just swipe your library card on the square in the front and it will follow you wherever you go. Management can actually swipe several and get multiple chairs if a larger setup is needed.

The chairs were designed by a Dutch designer, Jelte van Geest. It would be great for those too lazy to find a seat nearby or for the elderly who tire easily and want to have a seat while looking through the books.
