Who says desks have to be stationary? Why not have a desk that you can wheel around at will? This way if you want to sit by a window one day or cower in the dark another you can move your desk to wherever your mood takes you.
This desk from Utilia design is probably the most uncomfortable looking design, but fun nonetheless. My desk is extremely heavy with no hope of me budging it much less move. However I do have my laptop which makes it so that I can curl up on the couch or anywhere else I choose to browse the net from.
I seriously doubt the thought would ever cross my mind that I wanted to leave my comfortable desk chair to go sit on a bicycle seat. One thing is for sure though, you would never nod off while busy at work.
