I remember the first time that I saw Apple’s MagSafe Power Adapter, I was completely blown away. It was such a simple concept that made so much sense. I’ve seen a number of laptops with broken screens because someone tripped over the power cord and pulled the notebook off of a table. So why not apply the same concept to other cables?
The Replug is a simple solution for your 3.5mm headphones that works on the same principal as the MagSafe Power Adapter found on all newer MacBooks. I can’t begin to count the number of times my headphones have been ripped off because of the stupid cord.
There’s no current pricing or availability listed, though they do hope to have it out by the end of the year. I would imagine that they will be offering these at a reasonable price.
