At AUS $363 this seems pricey for a curvey piece of injection molded plastic, but the principle looks like a good idea. I would prefer to be able to lean back slightly, surely there are other egonomic add on desktops out there which might be a little more reasonable in cost.

Hi,

I've not come across this product before - it looks good and very complementary to my own invention - PostureMinder software that reminds you about your posture whenever you sit badly.

However, it sounds pricey at AUD363 and I'd be concerned about it either not being used properly, or even of it encouraging you to sit rigidly in a single position. That's not good - movement is important.

My software costs much, much less than this and is very effective at gradual encouraging users to make lasting changes to their posture and working habits. If you use it with a webcam, it will even check your posture every few seconds and remind you if you sit badly - not straight away as that would be irritating and discourage movement, but if you sit badly for minutes on end it'll give you a friendly, targeted reminder.

There's actually a free 14 day trial on our website if you'd care to try it - whether you have back pain or other aches and pains from using your computer, or just want to improve your posture to look and feel more confident and protect your health for the future.
