It is refillable, and you can refill it with whatever toothpaste you want.
It has a handy-dandy cap to keep the pocket lint off with little vents to keep it dry. It does however come without vents, just in case you are immune to mildew. Like every great toothbrush they sell replacement heads in packs of three for $6.95. The total price for the toothbrush is only $19.95.
