Just purchased the hd100, which the identical twin sister of the rs2, and it is simply amazing. HDtv and HD-dvd, Bluray movies look outstanding and color accuracy out of the box is nothing short of amazing. Now SD material looks average, I have a sharp 12000 projector that looked better with SD material, but you may not spend too much time watching that. As far as comparisons with the rs1, well I did a side by side comparison and the rs2 is better in every category.
