Anyone who has gotten addicted from the very first Guitar Hero game has likely gone on to buy the 2nd the 3rd and then if you had the cash, Rock Band too. Many of us have found our own solutions to storing the massive amount of controllers that come with all of the games. For some that means just leaning them against the wall or having one or two strewn about the floor yet some of us are making a bit of an attempt to appear like full grown adults and try to hide store them in a slightly more attractive way.

gaming guitar stand

The stand from Dude Thing Creations is created to solve that issue. It holds up to four different guitars and a microphone. The regular controllers can be tossed on its shelf as well. It is made entirely of wood and requires some assembly.

They are also working on something to help store the drums a bit better. There are hooks at the center of this stand to keep the cords from hanging down as well. New versions will be coming soon that are sanded and have a coat of polyurethane to make it look a bit more sleek. It is being sold for $55.

I want one, however from the looks of it, i could make a better one myself, and cheaper

Actually – this stand has been engineered to perfectly fit the gear – so unless you are engineer with access to a CAD program it’s not as easy as it looks. :) There’s a new product coming out to hold the drums and all accessories – check out the website. http://www.dudethingcreations.com

CAD PROGRAM?????? You have got to be kidding me. Anyone with access to a few tools, a tape measure, and some basic skills could whip one of those up quite easily. CAD program give me a break!!!!

Just received this stand, what a joke, it looks like someone’s Jr. High School wood shop project. The whole thing is put together with silver L brackets. You can’t see them in the picture because there covered up by guitars. It looks terrible. The plywood was separating, it wobbles, the thing looks like it was painted with flat black from a spray can, what more can I say. What a waste of money.

I just received this stand and I’m terribly disappointed. I ordered it because I thought they could do a more professional/polished job than I could at home. Boy, was I wrong! Most of the pilot holes were in the wrong places, none of the edges are sanded, there are scratches in the wood that have been finished over. The finish itself is drippy. The bottom piece is warped and the whole thing wobbles like it’s drunk. I am in the process of requesting a partial refund because I don’t want to lose $30 in shipping costs both ways by returning it.
