The Force Unleashed for the Wii to feature exclusive duel mode

Sometimes you have to feel bad for the Wii. It probably even gets picked on by the other two consoles for not being nearly as powerful. Soul Calibur IV isn't coming to the Wii, so no Jedi battling action there. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed probably won't look nearly as nice on the console, so once again it's losing out, right? Not a chance, from the sound of things you're really going to want the Wii version of the game.

First and foremost, you'll be able to use the Wiimote as a lightsaber, which alone is enough reason to choose the Wii. However, we have also been informed that the Wii will have an exclusive duel mode where you and a friend can duke it out Jedi style.

According to the guys at JoyStiq (who recently had the opportunity to play the game) they claim that the dual mode was good enough that it could have been released as its own standalone title. You'll have a variety of characters from the Star Wars Universe to choose from (spanning various time lines) and all the moves from the single player mode to use. Is it September yet?
