Worth Reading?

NoYes

BlueQI tend to get a lot of important (and not so important) calls, so I like to know when they’re coming in. But in some situations the ringer and vibrate functions aren’t the best way to get my attention. That’s where the BlueQ comes in.

The BlueQ is a wrist-strap that connects to your phone via Bluetooth and has the sole function of vibrating when a call comes in. This would be especially useful where you are in a loud area and can’t hear the ringer, or if you have deep pockets and can’t always feel your phone vibrating.

I think this little device would be very useful for those people that drive convertibles. I personally drive either a car that is a convertible, or one with T-tops just about everywhere, so on nice sunny days I don’t ever hear my phone go off…perhaps it’s better that way. But for those that don’t want to miss a single call, you’ll be able to pick one of these up in July for just under $40.

You know, I could see this sort of thing being more useful as a leg or ankle strap. I don’t want a device like that being visible. Nice idea though. . . I leave my phone on vibrate all the time – and there have been plenty of occasions when I’ve managed not to feel it.
