The Canon PowerShot SD900, a compact 10-megapixel point-and-shoot camera, was just released in the beginning of this month. Quite stylish as all its predecessors, the SD900 has a slightly curved body at 1.1 inches thick, weighing 6.7 ounces. It has a 2.5-inch LCD screen on the back and has not only improved image quality but also battery life. However, it lacks a bit on manual features, as do most point-and-shoot cameras. CNet’s review considered the camera as a moderately fast shooter. Priced at $499.99.
