It has been a great year for SlashGear, and its associates Unbox.IT, SlashPhone, PhoneMag and aMobileMe. I would like to thank the visitors of this site. You are our backbone. The visitors have shown tremendous support, and we count on you to submit tips and suggestions. Some of the posts on our site have prompted lively discussions with visitors from all over the world.

Next I would like to thank our sponsors and advertisers. You guys rock, and we look forward to doing business with you in 2007. A full list devoted to naming and aclaiming would fill the front page, but specifically we would like to thank Sprint, Palm, Nokia, Cingular, HTC, VIA, Parrot and Etymotic, as well as the many folks at PR companies who put up with our wheedling for news and are good enough to occassionally concede to the pressure. EV1 Servers has been very gracious by donating servers, as well as being a fantastic sponsor to our network of sites.

Lastly I would like to thank the contributors to our site. Chris Davies has been great as the managing editor. Even though he is not working at SlashGear full-time (yet), he writes and edits articles every day, and replies to emails in a flash. Ewdison Then and Vincent Nguyen are the partners behind Aradius, Inc., our parent company. Ewdison is the man responsible for the development of Aradius sites, and he manages and creates all of the behind-the-scenes work that helps us write about technology daily. I would like to thank Vincent, who fully took over SlashGear earlier this year, taking a 400-unique visitors-a day site and making it 20,000 unique visitors a day. Rue Liu has proven herself to be a posting demon, churning out fantastic content throughout the week. Woon Long Yeam (PhoneMag), Satsuki Kato and Lynnsie Nguyen have been great Associate Editors for all of our websites, while Liaw Kim Poh is the editor of SlashPhone, and has been keeping the numbers of subscribers high (even a little higher than SlashGear, but we won’t dwell on that!)

Finally, a special mention to our friends across the blogosphere, some of whom we’ve been lucky to meet in real life and others at the other end of an email or IM. Judie Hughes runs her own site GearDiary.com and is a great friend to us, always letting us use reviews and articles from her site. We’re also very pleased to have her writing for aMobileMe.com.
