Bitter much? What is your problem, really? Take a Zen moment and reflect, maybe before actually visiting the Tesla website (or even any NON-partial resource on how EVs work) to have many of your misunderstandings revoked. I recommend Stanford University for a start: http://www.stanford.edu/group/greendorm/participate/cee124/TeslaReading.pdf

1. Way to expensive for the poor, but affordable for many, which is why over 11,000 model s has been sold up to date.
2. No dealer network is needed. TESLA marketing uses high end malls and botique stores. Dealers are the old way of doing things. Just look at the apple store. TESLA stores are packed on the weekends with people.
3. No need for a charging network, electricity is all around us. If you don't have half a brain to charge your car, don't buy a car at all because that same half won't have the logic to fill up the tank.

From what I understand Tesla does not use dealers. These cars are expensive but they are raising capital in order to pay back their loans and also make an affordable car for the average Joe at 35,ooo.

We will just have to wait and see how or if Tesla survives. It is looking good so far with the rave reviews they have been getting from USA Today, Motor Trend, NBC, bay area. and countless other news
stations, magazines and blogs. I for one am pulling for them and admire their efforts. Thank you for the pleasant dialogue.

it is sold out according the EV-Tesla car maker is not the same as the cars are sold out from the dealers' lot where people can see an empty lot to believe. Charging the EV at home is no problem, how about when you run out of juice on the way to work or on the way home where do people charge? Cold and hot temperatures can drain the battery out quickly. EV is good for second car and can be use for work in short distance only. If people have to drive to work 60 miles one way and 60 miles back, they need to think twice. It is not practical and not making any sense for EV with limited driving distance (limited charging station) cost so much. Only people who have money to waste will buy EV that cost $105,000. Most Americans can afford to $100,000 house for their family, do you think they can buy this Model S. Only the rich that make millions of dollars can. This Tesla Model S is for the rich and famous only they are the people that can save the world global warming issues (5,000 EV-Tesla?). EV SHOULD COSTS HALF OF THE GASOLINE ENGINE CAR. I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE MANY DEAD EV ON THE MIDDLE OF FREEWAY WHEN THEY RUN OUT OF JUICE. I HAVE NOT SEEN EV DRIVING ON THE FREEWAY IN CALIFORNIA SINCE NISSAN LEAF SOLD ABOUT 300 WORLDWIDE.

1. Way to expensive- * Yet they are sold out. Just the Facts:The 2013 Tesla Model S Signature model is sold out, even the top-of-the-line Model S Signature Performance model priced at $105,400, according to the Tesla Web site.2. Non existent dealer network-Just the Facts:in Seattle, Denver, Chicago and Houston, as well as Orange County and San Jose, Calif. Over 600,000 people have visited those six the Tesla stores.3. Reliability issues-* Such as?4. Non existent charging network-* Do you have plugs in your home? The Universal Mobile Connector is ideal for road trips or as an alternative to the Home Connector.
