WOW! The new standard HD and 3D chip technology is great! It is amazing how far the camera has come into today's digital age.

Regarding chips in general, a word to the wise says use caution. I find that using lower GB chips in either 3D or standard HD formats is best. After having a chip fail and losing some material contained on that chip, I was relieved it was only a small capacity type in lieu of a larger memory type. Chips such as the newer 32 GB type are super for travel and maximum capacity. However, just imagine having a chip fail and losing all of that material. Although one can import material onto a PC periodically before the chip is full, I find it best to be safe. Its only my preference, ....but I use smaller GB type chips, import often, and also make back up CDs to archive the material, just in case the PC hard drive crashes. Trust me, anything can happen! Don't lose important photography!
