Targus ACP51USZ notebook docking station with video launches

When it comes to working exclusively from a notebook on the road and in the office or home, a docking station can make your life easier when at the desk. A docking station allows you to connect multiple peripherals, external monitors and more to your notebook with one single USB cable rather than a bunch you have to unplug each time you leave with your computer.

Targus has announced a new dock called the Targus USB 2.0 Docking Station with Video. The dock has an angled surface that raises the screen of your notebook for more comfortable use. It also has four USB ports with a pair of them offering enough power to charge your smartphone or other devices.

DisplayLink technology allows for support of monitors with resolutions of up to 2048 x 1152. The device supports Windows 7, XP, and Vista. Other features include an Ethernet jack and a mic and speaker input. The device is available now for $159.99.
