Jan 18, 2010

Judging by the fact that every time someone in my family or a friend gets a new electronic device I get the call to come install it, there are lots of people out there who don’t know how to hook up electronics. For this reason, there is a big market for installation services for all sorts of electronics items.

Target stores have announced that it will be teaming up with Zip Express Installation with more than 16,000 locations around the country for a TV installation and delivery service. The service will include delivery, installation, setup, and training on the new product.

The new service will start at $99 for simple delivery and setup. Customers wanting a new TV installed on a wall will pay at least $199. The company will recycle the old TV you are replacing for $50. Target will also offer set up and install on game consoles and home networks for $99 each.
