Long story short, unless your Target Store in your area is one of the 846 that has converted a portion of there store to a “Mobile Center”, (i.e. they sell cell phones and contracts) I was finally told that I could not take advantage of what I consider is a great offer unless one of these Target Mobile Centers physically is present in your Target Store.

One more thing, I certainly wouldn’t waste my time asking any of these individuals what a “Target Mobile Center” is even though there are apparently 846 of them currently with the entire 1150 Target Stores to have Mobile Centers by the end of 2011 as not only the article in Slashgear mentioned but the ‘Official Press Release’ on Target.com states as well.

TRUTH BE TOLD, I REALLY DON’T BELIEVE THAT THE LAST REPRESENTATIVE I SPOKE WITH ‘REALLY’ KNEW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT AS WELL I BELIEVE SHE JUST WANTED ME TO LEAVE HER ALONE AS SHE PREVIOUSLY TRIED TO PASS MY CALL ON TO THE PREVIOUS NUMBERS I HAD ALREADY CALLED. THIS ENTIRE PROCESS OF WASTEFULNESS TOOK ME AN HOUR TO COMPLETE.

BEING THE LAST DAY OF THE LIMITED TIME OFFER, THE FACT THAT IT IS TARGET (WHICH I’VE NEVER HAD ANY SORT OF ISSUE WITH) AND THE FACT THAT THESE MOBILE CENTERS ARE NEW TO TARGET i EXPECTED MUCH, MUCH, MUCH BETTER SERVICE, OR AT THE VERY LEAST SOMEONE THAT HAD A CLUE WHAT I WAS INQUIRING ABOUT.

THERE IS NOW A 0% CHANCE THAT i WILL EVER TRY AND DO BUSINESS IN ANY CAPACITY WITH TARGET STORES….I GUESS MY WIFE WILL HAVE TO SUFFER.
