“It only took four months, three rejections, one appeal win and then reversal of said appeal, management UI review, and then one more final review for good measure to get Taposé approved.”

It would seem that Taposé were too wedded to a specific delivery platform and have potentially allowed this to have too much influence over their initial product delivery platform (from a look at their website, they didn't suffer from another common problem - too much funding) and hence override the importance of getting product into the market and start generating: column inches, revenues and user feedback. But at least Apple have finally seen sense.

I would of used that time to ported the application to an equivalent platform: probably to an Android ISC(4.0) tablet with pen/stylus input, although Windows tablet would of permitted a higher price to be charged.

Yes, I appreciate that this would of required a rapid reskilling, but from my experience this is not beyond the capabilities of a competent and motivated development team.

However, the product is now available and I will be downloading it.

Developers will crawl over broken glass to release iOS apps, but not get off the couch for the easy Android sale. Short-sighted.

Annoyingly, they will probably claim piracy is the reason, when iOS piracy is all but ubiquitous compared to Android.

Admittedly I'm not clear about the detail of why the app was rejected multiple times, but surely this is a perfect example of why these upstart companies will have a better time releasing their apps to Android folk? I know it's chicken and egg - in order of people to develop apps for a platform they need the user base to make it worth while, and in order to attract users to that platform it needs good apps - I think if google want Android to be successful they need to dip their hands into their relatively large pockets, find companies like this and then pay them to port the app!

lol.

Let's see what the Galaxy Note 10.1 brings. The S-Pen technology rules over a bratwurst stylus.
