Just in time to cash in on the PlayStation 2′s final holiday season as king of the hill (it’s big brother comes out next week, after all), Take-Two has announced GTA: The Trilogy. If the name doesn’t quite clue you in as to what this is, exactly, it’s all three PS2 Grand Theft Auto games in one neat little package: Grand Theft Auto III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. This is also likely to be the last time we see the GTA franchise on current-generation hardware, since GTA IV has already been announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360. So, if you’ve been waiting for a good reason to pick up these GTA titles, the $39.99 price tag is most definitely inviting.
