Take-Two Announces GTA: The Trilogy

Benjamin Nied - Nov 8, 2006

Just in time to cash in on the PlayStation 2’s final holiday season as king of the hill (it’s big brother comes out next week, after all), Take-Two has announced GTA: The Trilogy. If the name doesn’t quite clue you in as to what this is, exactly, it’s all three PS2 Grand Theft Auto games in one neat little package: Grand Theft Auto III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas. This is also likely to be the last time we see the GTA franchise on current-generation hardware, since GTA IV has already been announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360. So, if you’ve been waiting for a good reason to pick up these GTA titles, the $39.99 price tag is most definitely inviting.
