Verizon has thrown the DROID XYBOARD 10.1 and 8.2 tablets up for sale, offering Android Honeycomb on a 1.2GHz dual-core in a choice of sizes, though there are questions around whether the carrier has again overpriced its slates. Announced earlier this week as the 4G LTE versions of the Motorola XOOM 2, and rumored not to hit shelves until next week, the two DROID XYBOARD models are priced from $429.99 for the 8.2-inch model and $529.99 for the 10.1-inch model, both demanding a two-year data agreement.

Motorola DROID XYBOARD 8.2 press photo leaked, name appears official

Verizon appear very much to be getting ready to release the next generation of Motorola tablets, one to replace the original XOOM, this time titled XYBOARD and looking to be situated in portrait position rather than the landscape we saw with the original. This device is set to have an 8.2-inch display, unique to the tablet world, may well have a quad-core processor by the time it's released more than likely inside 2012, and by the looks of it, this is going to by just as heavy duty as the original and more - look at that fabulous aluminum plate! But let's talk about the name for a minute - that name is just… interesting.

Just this morning we got our first official glimpse of two new Motorola tablets, the XOOM 2 and the XOOM 2 Media Edition, and just now we've got the first prices as set by Clove. For those of you that've never been there, Clove is a retailer that tends to the UK, and prices for these new editions have been set at £325 + VAT for the XOOM 2 and £299 + VAT for the XOOM 2 Media Edition. For comparison, the XOOM original with Wi-fi only currently costs £274.99 at the same store and cost £449.99 at launch. Motorola XOOM 2 and Spyder leaked photos appear

When a leaked set of photos of a device, or in this case two devices: the Motorola Spyder (aka DROID RAZR) and XOOM 2, are released with carrier logos splayed across them, it generally means that release time is near. We've learned this year that this isn't always true, but on the whole we can judge a leak by its cover. Here what we're seeing is a brand new handset and a second-generation tablet on the way straight out of the generally-ok photo takers hands. Motorola, will you bring the heat inside 2011?

Motorola Xoom 8″ & 10″ leak together, 4G LTE confirmed

The Motorola Xoom 2 has leaked again today, this time being spotted hanging out with his little brother. Here we have both of the new Motorola Xoom's in the 8" and 10" form factor smiling for the camera. Apparently the tipster has also confirmed they are both rocking 4G LTE, but that to be expected and we'll probably see Wi-Fi models also. Is it just me or is this new design looking pretty neat?
