Apple has revealed its new Mac Pro, the much-anticipated refresh of its professional-grade workstation, and it's quite the departure from the old machine. Gone is the meaty aluminum tower, replaced by a compact, glossy black cylinder just 1/8th the volume of its predecessor. Mac Pro will be “assembled here in the USA”

Apple's WWDC 2013 developers conference has revealed a new iteration of their Mac Pro machine, taking on a tube-like appearance and coming in as what very well may be Apple's first fully-USA-manufactured machine. Apple's word thus far is that this next-generation Mac Pro will be "assembled here in the USA", which could mean that it'll be manufactured in part internationally.

OS X Mavericks adds Finder Tabs, Tags, and Multiple Displays

This week Apple has launched into the desktop world with what was assumed to be OS X 10, but was revealed to switch gears with the name "OS X Mavericks". This desktop operating system will be bringing on Finder Tabs, Tags, and Multiple Display functionality to the desktop world. Each of these elements will be added in the next generation of MacBook and desktop machines through 2013.

Apple touts 50 billion apps downloaded from store for iOS

At WWDC 2013 Apple has let it be known that they've reached the 50 billion apps downloaded mark, this mark reached with a $10 billion dollar mark paid to developers in the process. Noting that they'd added $5 billion in the past year alone, Apple noted that the past 5 years of the App Store have paved the way for the future with developers, one that Apple suggests has paid "three times more than all other platforms combined."
